Yuliya Levchenko was born December 28, 1997 in Ukraine and began her athletic journey at an early age. As she progressed through national and international competitions, she rapidly rose up the ranks to win multiple medals; winning gold at 2016 World Junior Championships while setting a new championship record of 1.94 meters jump height.
Levchenko continued her impressive performances at international tournaments, winning silver at 2017 European Indoor Championships and gold at 2018 World Indoor Championships. Additionally, she participated in both 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games, finishing 11th at Rio and taking home bronze at Tokyo.
Levchenko has made waves both athletically and fashion-wise since her athletic career started, becoming known for her modeling work for various notable fashion brands and partners like Richard Mille as well as appearing in numerous fashion magazines.
But managing both her professional athletic and modeling careers can be a difficult balancing act; modeling’s demands may become demanding and interfere with training schedules; yet Levchenko handles both gracefully, showing she truly embodies all she needs for success.
