When people think of beaches in India, they usually think of Goa in the southwest. However, the Bay of Bengal has its own gem: Chandipur Beach. What sets it apart is that during a certain time of day, the sea recedes by a whopping 3 miles (5 km), uncovering a vast shoreline where you can take a peaceful walk. This may surprise sea creatures, even though it happens every day, but it’s a convenient opportunity for fishermen to catch fish.
