2. Understand The Properties Of Each Ingredient

Knowing the right time to add different ingredients is important. For example, mushrooms soak up the flavors of other ingredients, so you shouldn’t put them in the pan first. Instead, cook the meat, onions, and spices first, and then add the mushrooms. Also, potatoes take longer to cook compared to spinach. So, start cooking the potatoes first before adding the spinach. If you do it the other way around, you’ll risk overcooking the spinach and undercooking the potatoes.
