While Tony Montana, the main character, constantly faces challenges and has to resort to violence to climb the ranks, it becomes clear that he is his own worst enemy and ultimately leads to his own downfall.

The next Christian Bale movie on this list is even more unique. It features two main characters, played by Bale and Hugh Jackman, who become their own worst enemies. These rival magicians are so focused on outdoing each other that they end up ruining their own lives in their pursuit of greatness. In the end, they both become villains and realize that their obsession has cost them everything, without truly achieving any victory.
