ToggleSamuel L Jackson Was Confused For Lawrence Fishburne In A 2014 Interview
Sam Rubbin, a news anchor at KTLA, was introducing Samuel on the show and mentioned a popular Superbowl commercial. Jackson then asked which Superbowl commercial, only to realize that the reporter had confused him with Lawrence Fishburne. The reporter immediately apologized, but Jackson appeared visibly offended by the mistake.
Rubbin struggled to continue with the interview after the blunder. Jackson expressed his frustration, pointing out that not all Black celebrities look the same. He mentioned that Rubbin, being the entertainment reporter, should know the difference between him and Laurence Fishburne. Jackson added a sarcastic comment about the limited availability of Rubbin’s job due to the mistake.
Anne Hathaway Was Thrown A Train Of Questions Related To Her Figure In 2012
During a 2012 interview with “Extra,” Anne Hathaway was discussing her movie “The Dark Knight Rises” with Jerry Penacoli. Unexpectedly, Penacoli started asking her a bunch of questions solely focused on her being in “perfect shape” for the film.
He began by mentioning that she had always been in good shape but suggested that her role as Catwoman required her to be in absolutely perfect shape. He asked about her fitness routine, if she followed a specific diet, and what her exercise regimen was.
Hathaway cleverly responded that it wasn’t solely about having a perfect physique but rather about being capable of performing all the action and fighting scenes required for the role.
Penacoli, unaware of his ignorance, continued with similar questions, such as how she had to get in perfect form to wear the form-fitting catsuit and whether it was comfortable for her. Hathaway patiently explained that it wasn’t as comfortable as sweatpants, and she tried to change the subject by talking about Christian Bale’s costume, mentioning that his was likely more uncomfortable since it covered his ears.
Despite Hathaway’s attempts to steer the conversation away, Penacoli persisted with questions about her body and costume. Hathaway, who had been trying to brush off these questions, cleverly caught the reporter off guard by asking him if he was trying to lose weight and fit into a catsuit himself.
Penacoli laughed and played along, saying that it might be what he was trying to do. Hathaway jokingly replied that it would take about 10 months for him to achieve that.
Ben Affleck’s unusually wild talk with a journalist isn’t exactly today’s definition of “fun”
In 2004, the actor who played Batman did an interview to promote his movie “Jersey Girl.” During the interview, he acted very strangely. He had a journalist sitting on his lap the whole time and was being overly familiar with her. He even asked her to remove her top and made inappropriate comments about her body. He also made fun of French accents for a while.
The journalist, Anne Marie, seemed to find it amusing and laughed throughout the interview. She later said that she had done similar interviews with him before and didn’t see anything wrong with it. When the interview aired, the local audience enjoyed it and didn’t see any problems either. Anne Marie posted the entire interview without editing it because she thought it was fun.
In 2017, during the #MeToo campaign, another woman named Hilarie Burton accused the actor of groping her breasts during a different event in 2003. This accusation brought attention to the strange interview with Anne Marie as well. People started questioning the actor’s behavior towards women in general. Anne Marie mentioned that after Burton’s accusation, people began viewing her interview differently, but before that, it was seen as positive.
